What is I2PL?
I2PL (2nd Generation Intense Pulsed Light) is considered the Gold Standard for skin rejuvenation and is also FDA approved for this use.
The I2PL machine uses short, safe bursts of light emitted from a flash lamp to treat specific skin conditions. The proprietary system very carefully controls the delivery of the light – the amount of light and speed of delivery is accurate tailored to your skin condition.
In the I2PL Anti Blemish Facial, the light wave is calibrated to denature p-acne bacteria, stimulating sebum balancing and reducing inflammation.
And unlike older Intense Pulsed Light machines, I2PL features an exclusive dual mode filtering technology that eliminates potentially harmful light wavelengths, reducing treatment time and maximising your results and comfort.

Because I2PL is a light-based technology, people with darker complexions possess a higher risk of skin burns due to the higher melanin levels absorbing the light energy.
In addition, sensitive skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea and psoriasis may react adversely. In the above such cases, there may be skin redness, burning and stinging sensation, and in very rare cases, dermatitis in hypersensitive individuals.
Our consultants will take the time to discuss whether your goals and expectations for the treatment are realistic, and also discuss with you all our I2PL Anti Blemish Facial benefits and risks.
