Gua Sha Eye Treatment

Relight the fire in your eyes

Imagine this.

Your eyes are stuck to the computer screen for hours on end. Repeat this at least 5 days a week.

In your free time, your head is perpetually bent over the phone while your fingers tap away on the screen.

Sounds uncannily close to your reality? It’s the same for a majority of us. This is also the major cause of Tired Eyes, A.K.A., Zombie Eyes or Eye Fatigue.

Cosmetically, your eyes appear dull, dim, and deaden. And you wonder how you can banish this bleary look.

Wonder no more. With Skinlab the medical spa’s revitalising gua sha eye treatment, you’ll be able to reap the benefits such as:

  • Reverse ageing signs such as wrinkles and fine lines
  • Increase blood circulation to the eyes
  • Reduce toxin built up and puffiness
  • Tighten and firm skin around the eyes
  • Lighten dark eye circles

Revitalising gua sha eye treatment – reinventing an ancient chinese technique

Gua Sha, “刮痧”, is a traditional therapy that involves scraping the skin with a massage tool to improve circulation.

At SkinLab The Medical Spa, this traditional technique is further developed to not only increase blood flow to the eyes, but also stimulates skin cell turnover and reduce water retention and inflammation.

The Revitalising Gua Sha Eye Treatment is a very safe treatment for most healthy adults. Although commonly associated with inducing the appearance of petechiae (red/purple spots on the skin from broken capillary blood vessels), the Revitalising Gua Sha Eye Treatment is a much gentler treatment and will not result in petechia formation.

However, the treatment should be avoided for those with bloodborne illnesses, on blood thinning medication or have clotting disorders, and for those who’ve has surgery in the last six weeks.

Our consultants will take the time to discuss whether your goals and expectations for the treatment are realistic, and also discuss with you all our Revitalising Gua Sha Eye Treatment benefits and risks.
